Introduction

Even with the latest medical care, approximately 10,000 people develop uterine cancer each year and approximately 2,900 people lose their precious lives. In addition, the number of patients begins to increase in their 20s. As a result, approximately 1,200 people each year lose their uterus due to cancer treatment and become unable to become pregnant.

It is concerned that they are infected with HPV (Human Papillomavirus). It is said that many women are infected with this virus once in their lifetime. Although most of them heal spontaneously when infected, some of them can get cancer.
That is why, regular cervical cancer tests and HPV tests help prevent the development of cervical cancer.
However, the rate of cervical cancer screening is lower than in other developed countries, and the incidence rate of the younger generation is increasing year by year. People do not have enough time and feeling embarrassed, and it is concerned that these make the screening rate decrease.

From these points, Dr. Katsuya Kato, the late President of the Nagoya Institute of Public Medicine, researched and developed a screening device in 1973.
In addition, since this screening device can also perform multipurpose tests for sexually transmitted diseases, etc., it is possible to easily implement many tests at any time and place by self-collection.

We hope that it will help improve the cervical cancer screening rate as an auxiliary role replacing the doctor.
